Mr. Pani Taram born in Kurung Kumey District of Arunachal Pradesh. He is presently MLA from the 21nd Koloriang assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, elected in 2014 state elections. Prior to joining politics, he was working as District Fisheries Development Officer (DFDO). He graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh. In his MLA’s tenure, Mr. Pani Taram made immence work for the betterment of the people. After becoming a legislator, he declared two new circles in Kurung Kumey district ‘Panyasang’ and ‘Polosang’. As good as 7 thousand people of the area benefitted. Currently, people here do not have to wander for their daily activities.

Kurung Kumey district is a bordering area. The area has taken to considerable progress in the area of education, infrastructure, health, quality of life and roads after Koloriang elected Shri Pani Taram as MLA. Shri Pani Taram is currently a member of the National People’s Party and its election symbol is ‘book’. The national president of the party is the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Mr Conrad K Sangma and Arunachal Pradesh President Mr Gicho Kabak.

the people’s representatives must contribute through the local area development fund in equipping the health facilities with best and latest equipment.The hospital, which caters to a population of about 7000, requires X-ray and ultrasound machines, and dental chair.


Education for all

Mr Pani Taram gave special attention to school education and education of girls in Kurung Kumey district. . There was a lot of work on education only in 2018.Such auditorium at the cost of one crore rupees was made in Sarli.
