Kurung Kumey Rarity
Mr Pani Taraam, constructing nine model villages in the area are – Saape, Suppo, Louis, Yumlum, Nangaram, Lambub, Nisup, Cheya and Huri. As a model village, work is going on in every village along with road, electricity and water development, all basic infrastructure development in Kurung Kumey district is an example. With the setting up of firing range in Saape, Indian Army will be assisted, as well as accepting compensation of about Rs 444 crores for displaced tribes from here. Mr Pani Taraam has taken full care of the interests of the people of his area. At the same time, getting a new office of Police SP at Koloriang has made it easier for people to work with police.
Government Office Development
CEO office and Executive Engineers staff quarters were built. Polosang helipad was built. The IB staff quarter in Panyasang was built with a budget of Rs 2 crores. Multi Utility Center at Parsi Parlo is being constructed at a cost of Rs 1.5 crores. A sum of Rs 32 lacs was spent in Koloriang on the development of PWD staff. Spending Rs 40 lakh on Damin to helipad road. Built a helipad at the Border area of Damin Circle with a budget of Rs 45 lakhs. SP office was developed in Rs 3 crores budget. SP quarters for Rs 50 lakh Police Quarters in Parsi Parlo were developed at a cost of Rs 96 lakhs budget. Koloriang Fire Station was developed with a budget of Rs.4.48 crores. For the construction of staff quarters of the electricity department in Koloriang, the budget of Rs 30 lakh was spent. The cost of the nursing staff quarter was developed with Rs. 1.5 crores. A sum of Rs 54 lakhs spent on development of District Arbitrator Dispute Settlement in Koloriang. Development work was done from the budget of Rs 1.5 crore on the Scheme Development Training Center. In MSDP structural development, Rs. 6.77 million, BVC godown Damin was built at a cost of Rs. 54 lakh, BVC godown was constructed at Sarli with a cost of Rs. 85 lakhs budget respectively.
With the efforts of Mr Pani Taram, the roads of the streets were laid in Kurung Kumey district. Mr Taram approved 17 projects under the ‘Prime Minister Village Road Scheme’ (PMGSY) in 2018. The contract has been given for a total project worth Rs 469 crore and work is in progress for the relief of the people. So far, with the efforts of Mr Pani Taram in Kurung Kumey district, there has been a road constructed from Parli Parlo to Damin at a cost of Rs 42 crores. The road was constructed at the cost of Rs 11 crore in Koloriang. Roads were constructed from Patuk to Panyasang at a cost of Rs 17 crore 96 lakhs. A road was built up to the cost of 15 million from Yumlum to Libya. Two crore rupees were spent in road development from Sarli to Polosang, and pavements were constructed at a cost of Rs 4 crore budget in Koloriang, Damin and Sarli. With the decision of Mr Pani Taram, the road was built to the forest office at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 76 lakhs. Rs. 6 crores road development budget from Parsi Parlo to Patuk and 2 crores of rupees spent on the road to Hydro powerhouse.
Make two new Circles: Panyasang & Polosang
Mr Pani Taram created two new circles and created relief for 7 thousand people in the area. Polosang and Panyasang declared as two new circles, making it easier for people to do government work, and to save people’s time, money, and many times the dangerous journey that threatened life was also far away.
Mr Pani Taram, MLA of Koloriang, paid a lot of attention to education. Mr Pani Taram gave special attention to school education and education of girls in Kurung Kumey district. There was a lot of work on education only in 2018. Thanks to this, development work were carried out with the amount of Rs. 5 crores for school development in Parsi Parlo in Kurung Kumey district. For the cost of one crore rupees each, 100 bedded girls’ hostels were built in Koloriang, Sarli and Parsi Parlo. A sum of 5 crore rupees budget spent on VKV Infrastructure In Koloriang. Mr Pani Taram has built School Auditorium from the budget of Rs. 2 crores. Such auditorium at the cost of one crore rupees was made in Sarli. Another 50-bed girls hostel at Nikja at a cost of Rs 1 crore, Mr Pani Taram ensures better facilities to the girls of the area. In order to increase the facilities for playing children in Patuk, Mr Pani Taram has set up a football ground at a cost of 50 lakhs.
